Imam Hossain (PBUH) had a little girl called Roqayyah. She was only about 3 years old in Aashoora. After Aashoora, those cruel humanoids captured the women and children. Roqayyah cried, all the way from Karbala to Kufah and then from Kofah to Damascus, for her dad. Zaynab (PBUH) tried to calm her little niece, but she just wanted her dad. Once the caravan of the captives arrived in Damascus, Yazid had them settled in a ruined area.



... Roqayyah kept on crying for her dad. The cruel and heartless yazid ordered one of his men to take the decapitated head of Imam Hossain to Roqayyah to shut her up ... . O' God! You only know what went on in the baby's mind and heart, we just know that she let out a heart-breaking sigh and came back towards You, on that ever-inauspicious month of Safar ... .
