Ma'roof and Monkar

We are living in a colorful world where every day some so-called new behaviors are surfacing and adopted -while many of these behaviors are not even so new- but any way, they are enough to confuse any one who does not stand on solid ground.

Who is Ali, the Amir-Ol-Mo'menin (PBUH)

Sayyed Ebn Taawoos -a highly trusted and respected Shi'ah scholar of the 7th century A.H.- in his book "Sa'd-O-Sso'ood" has written that he himself had read in the "book of Edris" -the book of the Prophet Edris (Enoch) who was one of the first Prophets after the Prophet Adam (PBUT), and his book was a part of the “Old Testament” of the “Bible”, before the ongoing latest human distortions- in regard to Mohammad and his progeny (PBUT);...

Second Coming of Jesus (PBUH)

That Day when Mahdi shall come, and Jesus too;

The Light of Allah shall shine through.

Through the diamonds of tears;

The tears of all Anticipators.

Then, a colorful heavenly rainbow will appear;

In the blue sky of dreams, so near.

A rainbow with peaceful colors of Monotheism, Justice and Equity;

Purity, sincerity, honesty, chastity, prosperity, humanity,… .

Absolutely doubt-free!

Findings of different fields of worldly sciences, are never doubt-free; many examples around us, verify this matter. For instance, in the field of psychology, treatments such as certain tranquillizers and electric shocks… for various mental deficiencies -which were previously thought to be helpful- today are not only, considered not helpful but also harmful; some psychologists are realizing and believing that the emotional reasons behind mental problems must be dealt with, and not just the resulting physical symptoms. Also, in the field of medicine -one of the most highly respected fields of sciences today- the examples are plenty; for instance, if some day Antibiotics were considered absolutely harmful for the people with ulcer, today certain Antibiotics are actually a treatment for ulcer.

Ascension of Mohammad (PBUH&HP)

This whole Universe, from a tiny atom and its tremendous hidden energies, to a bee and its healing honey, to human and all his unbelievable and complex physical and spiritual characteristics which have astonished every intellectual mind, to the earth and the sun and their miraculous life-giving bounties, to the Milky way galaxy -a diminutive and small galaxy- which is spread to a period of one lakh light years -i.e. if one intends to travel from one end of this galaxy to the other end, it will take him one lakh years to traverse the distance, with the speed of light (which is 3 lakh kilometers per second)-, to the entire existance -both what is known to mankind and that which is not-, is created by one Creator.

Ascension of jesus(PBUH)

The heavenly matter of the Ascension of the Prophet Jesus (PBUH) is definitely confirmed by Qur'an and Islamic Hadith but the issue of the crucifixion of Jesus (PBUH) is a matter which not only Qur'an does not confirm but also some less distorted Christian documents, reject.

Prophet, humble or not ?!

Contributed by bineshan on 04 Apr 2007 - 12:00 AM

Prophet,
humble or not ?!

The
Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) had such great manners and ethics that
Allah has admired him in Qur'an:

And
most surely, you (Mohammad) are of tremendous and sublime (Azim)
morality.

(Qur'an,
Surah Qalam, verse 4)

Some
day a person who had never met the Prophet (PBUH&HP), asked Imam
Ali (PBUH) about the Prophet's moral traits and behavior which Qur'an
designated, as Azim (tremendous and sublime). Imam Ali (PBUH)
responded by referring to Qur’anic verses which consider every
thing in this world as scant and Qalil (Qur’an,
Surah Nesa’, verse 77; Surah Tobah, verse 38;...)
. Imam
(PBUH) continued by directing the attention of that person to the
fact that Qur'an considers this whole world as scant and Qalil, but
the Prophet's behavior as Azim and tremendous. This comparison
clearly shows how wonderful and perfect, the prophet's ethics and
manners were.

Relationships

A souvenir of the so-called today’s civilization is the open relationships between men and women; using an example, we wish to illustrate the fact that the way which Islam looks at this issue, is actually the most logical and civilized way:

Scientists' views

Scientists and scholars of different fields around the world may have different views in regard to the belief of God; how can we decide who is right and who is wrong?! There is a profound and meaningful statement from the Amir-Ol-Mo'menin (PBUH) which is a guiding response to such questions:

Recognize the Truth (Haq), subsequently you will realize its adherents.

True love!

Contributed by bineshan on 11 Mar 2007 - 10:48 AM

True love!

There are certain soft and gentle feelings which all human beings share in their hearts such as appreciating beauty, loving one’s own children, helping others and … . These pure instinctive emotions are within human; these feelings may get weaker or stronger by external elements and experiences but they never go away. These instincts are inseparable part of human identity. One feeling -which may be considered as the foundation of purity and beauty- is the Divinely bestowed love of our Lordd. Loving God is a celestial feeling which we all share in our hearts; actually, our nature and essence have been created based upon the love of Allah:

The Divine Fetrat which people have been created based upon; there is no transformation (Tabdil) in Allah’s creation… .

(Qur’an, Surah Roome, verse 30)

Ghadir, heart of Qur'an

Ghadir, heart of Qur'an

Whenever we truly love someone, surely we try to learn about his/her likes and dislikes so that our love may grow into a true and satisfying relationship. In loving God, the matter becomes even more personal; because all pleasures are directed towards us; when Allah is pleased, our own souls and hearts become more peaceful, joyful and pleased. If we truly love God, then surely we wish to learn about His likes and dislikes. In Islamic narratives, it has been said that Allah becomes manifest in His Word, for His people. Thus, undoubtedly a sincere person -with all his love- studies the Word of God so that he may establish a heart-warming relationship with his Lord.

On the one hand, the Old Testament, Book of kings 1, chapter 8, statement 9, indicates that the original Torah of the Prophet Moses (PBUH) was lost about 3000 years ago and never again found, while the book which is presented as Torah today is what has been written and rewritten by priests over centuries; on the other hand, history -as it is- is not presenting the original Gospel of the Prophet Jesus (PBUH), while over 100 gospels were written by others throughout the ages. BUT Qur’an; Qur’an is a direct revelation of Divine Word to the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP); Qur’an is Unique; there exists no other book with this characteristic and significance!
