Wonderful Destination

In many verses of Qur'an, Allah has described the "Mottaqeen" (the pious, …); for instance in the beginning of the Surah Baqarah, describing the characteristics of the Pious, Allah the Almighty says:

This Book -No doubt in it- is Guidance for the Mottaqeen (the Pious … , those with Taqwa); those who believe in the "Ghaib" (Unseen,… ), and perform Salaah (specified Prayers), and from the sustenance which We have bestowed upon them, they give to others; and those who believe in that which has been sent to you (the Prophet Mohammad -PBUH&HP-) and in that sent to those before you (previous Chosen Ones -PBUT-), and they have Certitude about the Hereafter; they are upon Guidance from their Lord, and they are the delivered ones.

(Qur'an, Surah Baqarah, verses 2-5)

Both the Shi'ah and Sunni interpreters have implied the Disappearance (Occultation) of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) as one aspect of the Ghaib, for, he has a prolonged Disappearance. For the Sunni documents see: Tafseer Neyshaboori, refer under the aforementioned verse; … . And for the Shi'ah documents see: Al-Mohajjah, Sayyed Haashem Bahraani, p. 149; … .

In other words, if one wishes to be considered as a truly Pious person as defined by Qur'an, the belief in Imam Mahdi (PBUH) is necessary. The importance of this belief can be examined from different aspects, but just looking at it through this Qur'anic verse, reveals the seriousness of the issue in regard to Salvation; notice that the verse indicates that the Guidance of Qur'an depends on this issue; I.e. the Guidance which is necessary for attainment of Everlasting Salvation depends upon this belief which has been talked about by all Prophets from the beginning of Creation; for more information in this regard, we cordially invite you to read the series: "Value of human" in this site.

O' our beloved Mahdi! You have been the unique destination of the caravan of humankind which started its journey from the day Adam (PBUH) came on this earth; even though many have not yet realized the significance of your Ever-Anticipated Appearance, but we are, thankfully, counting the moments until you come and unite the entire humankind; what a wonderful destination for humankind!

O' Mahdi! O' our lord!

You are our heart and soul.

Loving you, is our faith and goal;

For even a moment, leave us not alone.
