It is heart-warming to mention that none of the special characteristics of the beloved Imam of our time (May Allah hasten his glorious Emergence) is some thing new and strange, as they have all existed in the previous Chosen Ones (PBUT); Hadrat Mahdi (PBUH) possesses the characteristics and perfection of previous Prophets and Imams (PBUT). His mother’s pregnancy and his birth was concealed and unknown to the public, like in the cases of Hadrat Ibrahim and Hadrat Moosa (PBUT). Like Prophets 'Eesa and Yahya and Imams Muhammad Taqi (Jawaad) and Ali Naqi -Haadi- (PBUT), his Divine Mission commenced at a very young age. His longevity is similar to Hadrat Nooh and Hadrat Khedr (PBUT). His Occultation has similarities to Prophets Edris, Saaleh, Ibrahim, Yoosof and Moosa (PBUT). His extended youth is like that of the Prophet Yoonos (PBUH).
