We have been stating that the characteristics of Imam Mahdi (PBUH) have existed in previous Chosen Ones (PBUT). In continuation of that discussion, we wish to present another heavenly confirmation from Imam Sajjaad (PBUH), yet stating other special characteristics; the fourth Imam (PBUH) has mentioned that, in withstanding loneliness and the difficulties of the period of Occultation, Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his Emergence) possesses the patience of Hadrat Ayyoob -Job- (PBUH). In the same manner which people have been in variance regarding Hadrat 'Eesa -Jesus- (PBUH) being alive or not, returning or not, …, people disagree about him too. After Reappearance, his uprising will be like his ancestor, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP) … . Imam Sajjaad (PBUH) has said:

“Mahdi (PBUH) possesses the traditions and characteristics of the previous Prophets (PBUT). He has the qualities of Prophets Adam, Nooh, Ibrahim, Moosa, 'Eesa, Ayyoob and the Prophet Mohammad (PBUT). In longevity, he resembles Hadrat Adam and Hadrat Nooh (PBUT). In concealed birth and being away from the people, he is similar to Hadrat Ibrahim (PBUH). In fear and occultation, he resembles Hadrat Moosa (PBUH). Differences will arise among the people because of him as was the case with Hadrat 'Eesa (PBUH). In facing difficulties, he is similar to Hadrat Ayyoob (PBUH), and like the Holy Prophet (PBUH&HP), he will Rise with the sword.”

O' the one and only Allah! Grant us the True Recognition of Your Hojjat (Proof), Hadrat Mahdi (PBUH). For, if You do not grant us his True Recognition, we will go astray in our Religion.
