True Furqan

Furqan is that which distinguishes the right from the wrong. Experts in every field have been trying to define unified standards. Today there are thousands of the standards for every thing we have in our lives. But, is there a standard for knowing God and establishing a true relationship with Him? Surly, if we are looking for a standard regarding God, we must search for the true word of God. God has talked to His people through his chosen Prophets. As also mentioned in the article((...Jesus... Muhammad ...PBUT)), unfortunately the words of previous prophets have not always been completely saved. For instance, one hundred and twenty eight Gospels -written years after Jesus by various writers and with significantly different texts- were available. But Qur'an was written at time of the final holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) and it brings to attentions the distortions which mankind has created regarding the words of previous Prophets(PBUT).Qur'an reinvites all who truly believe and love Divine Prophets back to the original path towards God as specified by the Prophet Ibrahim- Abraham-(PBUH) .Qur'an introduces itself as ((Furqan)), i.e. Qur'an is the Divinely bestowed standard by which the right path towards God is distinguished from the distorted paths.

Glorified is He who sent down Furqan upon His servant Mohammad to be a warner for all beings of all times and places.

God is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth: no son has He assumed, nor has He a partner in His dominion: it is He who created all things, and ordered them in due proportions.

(Qur'an, Surah Furqan,Verses 1&2)

In the same manner that in worldly matters sometimes profiteers try to define fake standards and offer distorted information to mislead unknowing people towards their personal goals, there are also those who try to introduce false standards and fake Furqans to misguide the unknowing people, in order to achieve their own goals and personal gains. But the knowing people who really seek the truth never fall for these fake standards. Qur'an is the only undistorted Word of God, as this promise is in Qur'an that it shall be protected from distortions (Surah Hejr,Verse 9); this promise already been fulfilled, all Muslims around the world have been reading the same Qur'an for over one thousands and four hundred years. And the infallible Imams after the Prophet Mohammad are the heart and soul of Qur'an who have kept Quran alive throughout the ages and have insured that the true interpretations and hidden meanings of Quran are preserved for those who seek the divine truth until the day that Mahdy (PBUH) will emerge and the truth shall be with him and he with the truth .
