Another significant point to consider about Aashoora is the fact that before the sunrise of that inauspicious morning both sides performed the morning prayer, both recited the same words, both were reading verses of the same Qur'an! One side chose not to accept the walayt and lordship of the Ahl-Ol-Bait -as God and the Prophet had commanded- therefore, they were only on the surface of the ocean of Qur'an and the waves and storms of justifications, aberrations and ... were throwing them here and there but the Imam's side -having accepted the walaayat and lordship of Ahl-Ol-Bait- were deep in the calm heart of the ocean of Qur'an away from the surface waves and storms. The Ahl-Ol-Bait are the heart and spirit of Qur'an. Qur'an without Mohammad and his progeny (PBUT) is just like body without spirit. This is why we see that different sects of Muslims -while reading the same Qur'an- have many differences. Every one is interpreting Qur'an the way they wish. Qur'an is the word of God and only God and the ones whom He has given them the Knowledge know the true meaning and interpretation of Qur'an.
In Qur'an, Surah verse 82, we read:
We send down in the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy to the Believers, while it increase the oppressors nothing but loss.
If Qur'an is not used properly -with the Ahl-Ol-Bait on its side, as directed by God- then that same Qur'an will no longer be the guiding light rather dark and dreadful depths of perdition shall be waiting for those who take the wrong path... .
