End of Futurity

... Surely, the land is Allah's; He gives it for an inheritance to whom He Wills from His servants, and THE END OF FUTURITY (AAQEBAT) SHALL BE FOR THE PIOUS AND DEVOTED SERVANTS (MOTTAQIN).

(Qur'an, Surah A'raaf, verse 128)

Qur'an clearly talks about a certain time in the future when the pious servants of Allah shall inherit the earth. This verse gives the good news that someday piety, honesty, decency,... will replace impiety, dishonesty, indecency and ... . The Promise of the Savior who shall save the world has been given by all Prophets. The Prophet of Islam (PBUH&HP) clearly introduced that Promised Savior, and during his life time, the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) talked so much about his descendant -Mahdy (PBUH)- as the Promised one, that even the Sunni documents -with all their distortions- have many indications of the Promised Mahdy and the world under his rulership.

The following are samples of hadithes narrated both by the Shi'ah and the Sunni, in regard to the wonderful time ahead.

The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) has said:

Mercy is upon this nation, for that its Prophet is from this nation and its Mahdy shall also be from this nation. This Amr and matter has been started by us and it shall be ended by us too. For us, there shall be a government which is destined in the future and there shall be no other government after our destined government; because the future is ours and THE END OF FUTURITY SHALL BE FOR THE PIOUS AND DEVOTED SERVANTS.

(Shi'ah and Sunni documents: Noor-Ol-Absaar, Al-Mahdi, Malaahem-Ol-Fetan,...)

Amir-Ol-Mo'menin (PBUH) asked the Prophet(PBUH&HP): Is Mahdy (May Allah hasten his Appearance), from us the Ahl-Ol-Bait?

The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) responded:

Yes, Mahdy is from us. Allah shall fulfill the religion by him, as it was originated by us; they shall be emancipated from trials, as they were emancipated from polytheism; Allah shall make their hearts -after becoming enemies caused by turbulence-, kind and loving to one another by us, as Allah made their hearts -which had become enemies caused by polytheism- kind and loving to one another by us; they -after the time of trials- shall regain their brotherhood by us, as they -after the time of polytheism- became brothers in faith by us.

The conclusion of life on this earth, as Qur'an promises, shall be achieved at the hand of Mahdi (PBUH); Mahdy's status in creation is too high to comprehend, but at least, we can understand that his Appearance shall be the solution for all human problems; let us sincerely pray and strive for that wonderful day... .
