This prayer is a heavenly ocean of Monotheistic gnosis . While fasting is recommended on this heavenly occasion, but reciting Imam Hossain 's prayer of Arafah is so important on this day that it is said, if fasting may make you too tired to recite this prayer, then fast not and do recite the prayer. Forget us not , in your prayers !
