Sheykh
Koleyni – a famous Shia'h scholar from the 3rd century
A.H.- has narrated from one of Imam Mosa Kaazem's (PBUH) servants who
said that just before Imam Mosa Kaazem was taken to Baghdad by the
Caliph, the Imam told his son -Imam Reza (PBUH)- to sleep in the
vestibule and entered the house after the morning prayer, until one
night that we waited for the Imam in the vestibule but there was no
sign of him anywhere in the house; we -the servants- and his family
became worried; with the morning sun, the Imam appeared in the house
and went to the lady of the house and asked her to give him the
things that Imam Musa Kaazem (PBUH) had given her entrust; the lady
started to cry because she was told by Imam Musa Kaazem to give those
to his son only after his death... .

The
narrator continued that Imam Reza (PBUH) told her to keep this secret
and not to tell anyone about his father's demising until the news
would reached Medina from Baghdad; the lady emphasized on the fact
that Imam Mosa Kaazem(PBUH) had told her that one of his sons would
come and ask for those trusted items and that would be when he would
have passed away ... .

The
narrators said after a few days the news of the martyrdom reached
Medina and we realized that it had happened exactly the same night
when Imam Reza (PBUH) miraculously had gone to Baghdad to perform the
special death prayer and spiritual rituals for his father ... .
