That day when the knife did not cut, the life of Ismael (PBUH) was spared so that Allah's Promise to the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) would be fulfilled...

That day when the knife did not cut, the life of Ismael (PBUH) was spared so that Allah's Promise to the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) would be fulfilled:

And as for Ismael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly;TWELVE PRINCES shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation.

(Bible, Old testament, Torah, Book of Genesis, chapter 17, statement 20)

It is true that unfortunately the Torah has been distorted but as Qur'an promises, the light of God always shines through even in the darkest places.(Quran,Surahs Saf & Tobah) The Promise of Allah was fulfilled and the TWELVE PRINCES, the twelve infallible Imams from the descendants of Ismael (PBUH) were born and the great nation of the final holy Prophet, Mohammad (PBUH&HP) was established and some day the Truth shall expand in the entire earth and the heart of the Believers shall become lightful.

It is no wander that the Eid of Adha (Qorban) is celebrated so magnificently, because that day the future of humankind was shaped ... .

In reciting the prayer of Arafah, please remember us too. We offer our deepest feelings on these blessed days of Arafah and Adha.
