Like for Allah …

 Imam Hassan Askari (PBUH) has said that one day the Prophet (PBUH & HP) said to one of his companions:

Like for Allah and dislike for Allah [like that which Allah likes and dislike what Allah dislikes]; be friends for Allah and be against for Allah; because the love of Allah is not achieved unless from this way; no one -even if he prays and fasts a lot- can taste the Iman [true Believing] unless from this way.

Today most people's friendships and brotherhoods are for the world [not for Allah]; for the world, they love each other and for it they hate each other but this way of living, will not get them anywhere.

That companion of the Prophet asked: how can I realize that my friendships and my enmities have been for Allah and who is the Wali of Allah whom I may be friends with and who is the enemy of Allah whom I may be against?

The Prophet (PBUH&HP) pointed to Ali (PBUH) and responded: his [Ali's] friends are Allah's friends, so be a friend to his friends; and his enemies are Allah's enemies, so be an enemy to his enemies ... .

Today, maintaining relationship with those who truly anticipate Mahdi (PBUH), is the Path to Allah's love. A true anticipator does not just love Mahdi and his forefathers (PBUT) in his heart but he also obeys them and takes their recommendations with all his heart because he understands that they only recommend what is to our benefit.
