Time of Reappearance

In one Tawqee' (signed letter), Imam Mahdi (PBUH) has warned:

“… And, as for the Reappearance, then it is with Allah. And, those who fix a time are liars.”

(Kamaal-O-Ddeen, p. 484, H. 4; …)

All Heavenly Books (especially before being distorted so extensively) have mentioned the Reappearance of Hadrat Mahdi (PBUH). All Prophets and Successors (PBUT) had given the Glad Tidings in regard to his Emergence and been waiting for his advent; i.e. been anticipating the fulfillment of the Divine Promise at his hand. Here, as one confirmation of this claim, let us remember a few very profound statements of our beloved Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) from his everlasting Ghadir Sermon:

… Behold! He (Mahdi) is the elite of Allah, and Allah is his Chooser.

He shall be the heir of all Knowledge, and the one who shall encompass.

He shall advise and inform on behalf of his Lord, the Mighty and the Majestic, and shall remind about the matters pertaining to His Faith.

He shall be the right-minded and unerring, to whom Authority shall be vested.

Behold! All former ones (Prophets, Successors, …) have given glad tidings about him.

Know that he shall be the Remaining Proof (of Allah), after whom there shall be no (new) Proof.

There shall be no Truth except with him, nor shall there be any Light (of guidance) except at his disposal.

None, indeed, shall overcome him, and none shall be supported and assisted against him.

He shall be the Authorized Representative of Allah on His earth, His judge over His creation, and His trustee in His secrets and in what He made evident … .

It is very important to realize that the Prophets and their Successors (PBUT) had, very clearly, introduced unmistakable signs about the Prophet Mohammad and his AhlulBayt (PBUT) and given Glad Tidings, so much so that for instance Qur'an states that the adherents to the Books of Prophets, when meeting the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH&HP), knew him as clear as their own sons (Qur'an 2"146, 6:20), i.e. the signs were so clear that there was absolutely no doubt whatsoever! But the ongoing distortions and deceits have been making such an abundant matter, as scarcely mentioned as it has become today.

But, when will, finally, his long Occultation come to an end, and when will the Almighty permit him to Reappear? Its Knowledge is only with Allah and none else. Thus, even though, considering all circumstances, Anticipation is becoming more and more difficult as time goes on, but the Believers must not lose patience and fall for malevolent liars who indicate a time for Reappearance. As our beloved Imam (PBUH) himself has emphasized upon, whoever fixes a time for the Reappearance of Imam Mahdi (May Allah hasten his Appearance) is a liar and a deceiver.

But there are factors, as presented by the AhlulBayt (PBUT), which may effect the time of Emergence such as sincerely praying for it.

O' our beloved Mahdi (PBUH)! Our hearts eagerly beat for your Return moment by moment, so we humbly implore Allah to allow it to happen sooner, moment by moment.
