Qaa’em (Qa’im)

In the presence of Imam Reza (PBUH) -in Khoraasaan- the title Qaa'em was mentioned, the Imam rose on his feet and placed his hand on his head and said:

O' Allah! Hasten his Faraj (Appearance) and facilitate his Emergence.

(Behaar-Ol-Anwaar, ...)

The reason for rising on feet -when mentioning and hearing the title Qaa'em- was asked from Imam Saadeq (PBUH). The Imam responded:

Saaheb-Ol-Amr (Imam Mahdi) shall have quite a long Disappearance, and due to the excessive love and grace that Mahdi has to his friends, whoever remembering him by the title Qaa'em -which this title is an indication of his Bounteous Government and a manifestation of deep sadness of his forsakenness- Mahdi shall look at him with kindness; and since the person doing this is under the special attention of Imam Mahdi, it is deserving that he -in order to show respect- stands on his feet and implore Allah to hasten his Appearance.

(Elzaam-Ol-Nnaaseb, ...)

Let us not forget that Imam Saadeq and Imam Reza (PBUT) both lived years before Imam Mahdi (PBUH)’s physical presence on earth, yet they anticipated his Divine and bounteous government with all their hearts; because that government means the manifestation of True Monotheism and Allah's Lordship and Justice on the entire earth.

Now, you and we are living during the Disappearance of that beloved Imam, how can we forget him and not anticipate his Appearance?!
