Truth behind ‘Lady of Fatima’

Now that to a certain extent, we have understood the concept of the Original Sin, let us go back to our subject; i.e. the manner by which the character of the pure Hadrat Maryam (PBUH) has been presented by Christians, or it is more accurate to say: has been misrepresented! With the distorted and man made formula of the Original Sin, even Mary, Hadrat Maryam (PBUH), had to be considered a sinner:

“In some groups [Catholics …], Mary is venerated for her part in the birth of Jesus, but we must remember that she was also a sinner, daughter of Adam … Neither does she merit the title "Godbearer," given to her by some …” (M. P. L. Dunteman) This basically summarizes the current Protestant belief in this regard.

And as for the Catholics, the following are samples of their CHRONOLOGICAL beliefs regarding Mary -Maryam- (PBUH) which are again based on the same distorted concept of the Original Sin:

Augustine Bishop of Hippo “Whatever flesh of sin Jesus took, He took of the flesh of the sin of his mother. Jesus did not partake of sin, but took of his mother, which came under the judgment of sin.” “He, Christ alone, being made man but remaining God never had any sin, nor did he take of the flesh of sin. Though He took flesh of the sin of his mother.”

“If the Scriptures be duly considered, and the saying of the doctors ancient and modern, who have been most devoted to the glorious Virgin, it is plain from their words that she was conceived in sin,” (Cardinal Cajetan, De Loc TheoI. parts c. 2.)

But later the Catholics realized that there was a major problem: if Mary was sinful and the Original Sin was going to be inherited by her child, then how the sinless god, i.e. Jesus was going to be born of the sinful Mary? So they decided to some how solve this problem. The solution was to make the sinful Mary sinless too, just like Jesus, even though their own teachings had clearly stated that she was a sinner!

Therefore the doctrine of Mary’s sinlessness is fairly new, not an apostolic tradition. It was in 1547, at the council of Trent that the Catholic Church announced the sinlessness of Mary enabling her to avoid venial sins. In 1620 Pope Paul the 5th forbade anything contrary to the teaching of Mary's immaculate conception to be said publicly under threat of excommunication. In 1622 Pope Gregory the 15th forbade any contradictory statements of her immaculate conception to be made in private. And so began the official elevation of Mary, or as the Christians say: the mother of the humanity of the Lord God!

Now some thing else had to be resolved. Christians believe that only God is sinless; i.e. they believe that only god the father, god the son and the holy spirit who are three but one, is/are sinless! But now in order to solve a philosophical problem, they had to make Mary sinless, and in order for her to be sinless, she had to be a deity!

Thus Pope Pius IX in 1854 solved the problem: “Let all the children of the Catholic Church ... Proceed to worship, invoke, and pray to the most blessed Virgin Mary, mother of God, conceived without original sin",

So this is how Mary actually became a goddess “Let all the children of the Catholic Church ... Proceed to worship … the most blessed Virgin”

Now another problem had to be resolved: according to the Catholics god or better said gods, being sinless, can not die, because they believe that death is the wage and judgment of sin. NO PROBLEM! They solved that too!

In 1950 Pius the 12th said, “Mary the immaculate perpetual virgin mother of God after the completion of her earthly life was assumed body and soul into the glory of heaven.” Officially on November 1, 1950, the bull Munificentissimus Deus declared the dogma of the Assumption of Mary. This dogma asserts “that the Virgin Mary, the Immaculate Mother of God, when the course of her life was finished, was taken up, body and soul, into the glory of heaven” (Acta Apostolicae Sedis, 32 [1950], pp. 753-73). 

BUT THERE IS STILL ANOTHER PROBLEM WHICH THE CATHOLICS HAVE NOT YET SOLVED: ISN’T IT THAT TRINITY MEANS THREE GODS, but NOW THERE ARE FOUR GODS, GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, HOLY SPIRIT AND MARY!!! INSTEAD OF A TRIAD, NOW THERE IS A QUADRIAD!!! PERHAPS THIS PROBLEM WILL BE RESOLVED IN THE YEARS TO COME!!!

WE WISH TO ASK A VERY SIMPLE QUESTION FROM CHRISTIANS: HOW COULD YOU CLAIM THAT CHRISTIANITY IS RELIGION OF GOD WHILE ITS TEACHINGS ARE FROM MEN AND NOT FROM THE PROPHET OF GOD?!

Let us now look at Qur’an 5:116 & 117:

And when Allah will say: O ‘Eesa son of Maryam! Did you say to Naas (humans), Take me and my mother for two gods besides Allah? He will say: Glory be to Thee, it did not befit me that I should say what I had no right to (say); if I had said it, Thou wouldst indeed have known it; Thou knowest what is in my self, and I do not know what is in Thy Self, surely Thou art the great Knower of the unseen things.

I did not say to them aught save what Thou didst enjoin me with: That serve and worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord, and I was a witness over them so long as I was among them, but when Thou didst take me, Thou were the watcher over them, and Thou art witness over all things.

Notice how the Magnificent Qur’an over 1400 years ago talked about a matter which was going to be officially declared centuries later, the same matter that Hadrat ‘Eesa (PBUH) is going to be questioned about on Qiyaamat, i.e. the matter of divinity of Hadrat Maryam (PBUH)! Notice again the verse does not just imply that only the so called Christians from the children of Israel would consider Mary, Hadrat Maryam (PBUH), as a goddess, rather the verse uses the word Naas (humans), implying that the non-Bani Israel Christians would make this accusation too!

This is only one reason why it is said that Qur’an, The Only undistorted Book of Allah on earth, encompasses past, present and future; and as Qur’an and the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) have promised, today still with Guardianship of Hadrat Mahdi (PBUH), the Words and also the Heart of Qur’an is protected till the end … WHETHER DISBELIEVERS AND POLYTHEISTS LIKE IT OR NOT!

YES TRULY QUR’AN WITH MOHAMMAD AND HIS AHLULBAYT (PBUT) ARE THE GREATEST MIRACLE OF THE ONE AND ONLY ALLAH …
