The choice in Aashoora

In the history of humankind, there exist events which have played tremendous roles in the course of humanity; Aashoora is such an event. The blood of Imam Hossain (PBUH) and his faithful companions, has been an everlasting red alert for all who love God; loving Allah means obeying the Benevolent God. Truly one can not claim that he/she loves Allah withot obeying Him; obviously, obeying Allah is only possible through the obedience of His chosen-ones. This is exactly where Aashoora draws the line, between the obeying Hossain and not obeying Hossain. Both sides in Aashoora seemed to be Muslims; but one side obeyed Hossain while the other did not. Obeying or not obeying the Allah-chosen Imam of each time; this is the choice which every one has to make -that is if he/she wants to be considered a Believer-. Remember, Qur’an indicates that no religion except Islam is ever accepted (Qur’an, Surah Ale-Emraan, verse 85); because the true Islam is submission to Allah and Islam has actually corrected previous Divine religions from human distortions and it is the most complete and final version of all Divine religions; this is why all previous Prophets (PBUT) gave the good news that Mohammad (PBUH&HP) -the most beloved (Habib) creation of Allah- would come (Qur’an, Surah Saf, verse 6,... ).

Allah has repeatedly commanded all Monotheists, the obedience of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP) in Qur’an (Qur’an, Surah Nesa, verse 59,
 ).

The Prophet Mohammad (PBUH&HP)has said:

He who dies while not recognizing the Imam of his time, he has died, a death of ignorance. (not a Believer)

The choice of following the Allah-chosen Imam of each time or not following, is the choice between Heaven and Hell; this is the choice that Horr made in Aashoora .

We cordially invite you to come along with us in remembering the heart-warming story of Horr, in this site, titled “From Hell to Eternity of Aashoora”.
