A letter to my loved ones …

A letter to my loved ones …

Salaam my darlings,

Ramadan Mobaarak to you all …

You know that your grand mother has been diagnosed with AMD in both her eyes and thus her vision has deteriorated somewhat and she is not supposed to be driving anymore because her vision is below the minimum allowed by law, but she is still driving, although only for short distances such as from the house to the market and only during daylight, but still …

It seems that her logic is that as long as she is not caught she is fine, and I think she will keep on doing this until the next time she has to renew her license, then she won’t be able to renew it any more, let us pray nothing happens until then …

I believe we all think that she is not doing the right thing and that her logic is not good; the correct and smart logic is to do what is right whether we are caught or not … don’t you think?

In this case we are only faced with human laws which are imperfect and even vary from one place to another, for instance her vision may be enough for driving in one country and not enough in another country depending on their laws …

But what about the Laws of God?! Well they seem to vary from one religion to another too! But from all the things we have talked about over the years and all the undeniable presented proofs, it is more than obvious that the differences stem from human distortions and if humankind had remained faithfully on the Path of Prophets and their God Chosen Successors he would have followed the Path from one Prophet to another and finally to the final Prophet and his twelve Successors … After all there is only one God …

But Satan has always misled humankind … except for those who faithfully and steadfastly have tried hard to stay away from Satan’s temptations, with the help of Allah and His Chosen Ones of course …

Now with all this, we are faced with the ever-perfect Laws of Allah such as Namaz, fasting during Ramadan, Hajj for those who are able financially and physically, Hijab … and most importantly Wilayat of Hadrat Mohammad and his Infallible AhlulBayt (SBUT) which without it no deed is accepted …

Now what are we supposed to do?!

Should we go on disregarding these laws as long as we are not caught?! I mean nobody is going to put us in jail because we are not fasting in Ramadan so let us just do as we wish, no one is catching us …

But you know actually the Loving God every once in a while catches us; whenever some thing bad happens to us Allah may be reminding us that He is the Lord and He can take away His bounties, and if He does not hurry to do so it is not because He approves our disobedience, it is only because He is Patient and Loving and He wants to give us time to rethink our position, He wants us to repent and go on the Right Path …

And whenever some thing good happens to us, He is catching us again so to speak … He may be reminding us that all bounties are from Him and He is the One Who can help us to succeed …

And if we discontinue missing all the signs, some day it may be too late …

You know all the Chosen Ones suffered so much cruelty imposed upon them by Satan and his followers, they gave every thing in the cause of God so that the Truth of Allah may remain …

The Prophet suffered so much, Hadrat Ali gave his life, Hadrat Khadijah offered all her abundant wealth and love to the Prophet’s Path, Hadrat Fatimah stood behind that door and lost her unborn child and her own life, Imam Hasan was poisoned, Imam Hosain gave all he had, Imam … and AAAAAHHHHH! Today Imam Mahdi is abandoned by us and our behavior, yes he is … all they have suffered have been for the Truth of Allah which we are not taking it that seriously, Are we?!

What is a little hardship compared to the hardships they went thru …

Our logic seems to be grandma’s logic, as long as we are not really caught never mind …

And let us not forget that the final catching will be on the Judgment Day, on Qiyaamat …

May Allah help us all …

You know I love you, if I didn’t I would not have said any of these things …

With true love,

Your …
