Treasures of Mahdi (SBUH)

Treasures of Mahdi (SBUH)

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Let us read together the following delightful story:

It is said that one day ‘Eesa son of Maryam- Jesus son of Mary- (SBUT) and his companions were passing by a city … the companions noticed some valuable pieces in the ruins, so they decided to look around hoping to find a treasure in that vicinity.

Jesus told them it was fine if they wanted to stay there and look for their treasure, but he (SBUH) said he wanted to enter the city to look for his own treasure … so Jesus alone went toward the city …

As he (SBUH) was going he saw a hut and knocked on the door; he became the guest of an old lady and her only son …

For hours they talked … Jesus realized that the young man was very intelligent and ready to learn and grow … facing his mother, while praising her son’s intelligence, Jesus asked her about the deep sadness he was observing in the young man’s eyes …

She said that her son had felt love for the king’s daughter and being so poor they had no hope for asking for her hand in marriage …

‘Eesa (SBUH) told them not to worry for the solution was at his hand … so he told the young man to go to the palace and announce that he had come to ask for the hand of the king’s daughter in marriage …

The young man happily did so … but he returned shortly, sad and with a broken heart … he said that he did as ‘Eesa son of Maryam told him but every one at the palace made fun of him and even told the king and he came and laughed at him too; the king while mocking, had told him to leave and return with lots of rubies and pearls so that he might give him his daughter …

‘Eesa Maseeh smiled and told the young man to be patient for their work was not done yet … then Jesus told the young man to go and look around in the ruins and gather pieces of clod and stone in a sack …

Again the young man did as the Prophet of Allah had told him and returned with a heavy sack full of pieces of clod and stone … Jesus then told him to look in the sack, with God’s Will the sack was full of precious jewels …

Next day the young man took the sack of jewels to the king … the king could not believe his eyes … so he told the young man that it was not enough and he should bring some more …

The young man returned worried and sad … Jesus once more did the same and the young man took those precious jewels too to the king …

The king who was astonished, asked the young man to tell him the truth so he narrated the whole story … when the king heard Jesus’ name, he was shaken and agreed to the marriage … moreover realizing the young man’s intelligence, the king appointed him to the highest ruling position …

Jesus, when leaving the city, went to see the young man in his palace … the thinking young man asked him the question that while he, the Prophet of Allah, knew how to change his life from that state of poverty to this royalty, why did he not do the same for himself?!

‘Eesa son of Maryam (SBUT) asserted that his Knowledge was from God, and that any one realizing the low value and transience of the world would never submit and fall for such worthless matters … Jesus assured that he felt such a joy in seeking nearness to the Pleasedness of Allah that such empty matters were not attractive to him …

This time the intelligent young man regretfully asked if this was so then why did he (SBUH) chose the best for himself and was going to leave him in such a perilous situation?!

Hazrat ‘Eesa (SBUH) responded that he was testing and measuring his intelligence and his readiness for leaving these behind, and that he (SBUH) wished to leave his story as a sign and proof for the future generations …

The young man left every thing behind and followed Jesus …

When Jesus’ companions, who were waiting outside the city, saw the Prophet of God told him that they indeed found their treasure, and Jesus pointed to the young man and told them that he was the treasure that he (SBUH) was after …

And today the earth is under the feet of one of the most exalted Proofs and Servants of Allah … he who is the last reminder and remainder of the AhlulBayt of the most exalted Proof and Servant of Allah, Hazrat Mohammad (SAWA) … he who ‘Eesa son of Maryam is anticipating his glorious Appearance so that he may leave his abode in heaven and follow him …

Today Hazrat Mahdi (SBUH) is present and goes into cities and … many times we may see him but not recognize him … but he knows very well every single one of us …

Today he benevolently prays for us so that we may not be lost in the colorful things the world has to offer …

Today he evaluates our intelligence and readiness too …

There are still few great ones who are so intelligent that the joy of seeking Allah’s Pleasedness is what they desire … so quiet and unknown … so far from the glitter of this world … yet amongst people … those who are humble servants and treasures of Mahdi (SBUH) …

But as for the rest of us …

Some times when things happen or even when hardships befall our ways and stop us from attaining certain things in this world … if we are blessed to thus think and make changes in our ways and desires, and seek Allah’s Pleasedness … if we are blessed to choose to serve the last Beloved and follow his wishes … then perhaps … only perhaps … we may be blessed to be, undeservedly and by Grace of Allah, considered a very small servant of Mahdi (SBUH) … a treasure?!!!

Do you know a position higher than that for a regular person like you and we?

It is noteworthy to mention that following Mahdi (SBUH) has absolutely nothing to do with seclusion from this world, or Sufism and Tasawwuf, or alike, which are all against Islam; we cordially invite friends to read the E-book “Dajjaal … Antichrist” in this site: kindfather.com

Yes Allah’s Beloved, Hazrat Mahdi (SBUH), is, lovingly and benevolently, looking for his treasures in the ruins of this world until the Ever-Promised Day of Appearance …

May Allah SWT Hasten his Appearance … AAMEEN …
