When Adam (SBUH) was passing thru Karbala, witnessed Adam’s sorrowful tears for Imam Hussain (SBUH), the Euphrates …
Asked its gentle companion the breeze, to join few drops of Adam’s tears to it, the Euphrates …
Embraced the tears, roared, and while groaning and moaning, flowed over its gravel bed, the Euphrates …
When the Noah Ark was passing thru Karbala, overflowed its banks and embraced the Ark, the Euphrates …
Ah! And the mournful tears of Noah (SBUH) for Imam Hussain (SBUH) fell in the heart of the Euphrates …
Then when Ibrahim (SBUH) came, watched his heart-rending mourning too for Imam Hussain (SBUH), the Euphrates …
Again it was breeze, the same old pal, which carried Ibrahim’s teardrops into the broken heart of the Euphrates …
Hoping to calm, a little, the heart of the sad Euphrates …
And when the eyes of Isma’el (SBUH)’s thirsty sheep met the tearful eyes of the Euphrates …
They realized that Hussain and his children (SBUT)’s thirst would not be permitted to be quenched by the Euphrates …
So they too decided not to drink from the Euphrates …
And they poured their tears into the mournful heart of the Euphrates …
Jesus (SBUH) and his disciples came too by the Euphrates …
And drops of their tears of grief for Imam Hussain (SBUH) too joined the heartrending lamentations of the Euphrates …
… And when ‘Abbas (SBUH) stepped on the chest of the Euphrates …
Was so proud, the Euphrates …
Melted from Abbas’ loyalty and bravery, not drinking before Hussain and his children, the Euphrates …
When they closed its waterway on Imam Hussain (SBUH), roared and stormed, the Euphrates …
And … still, wonderingly roars, the Euphrates …
Until in one of these turbulent moments, finally will witness Mahdi’s Divine Peace and Justice … the Euphrates …
The loving Mahdi (SBUH), who specially every Thursday evening, gently fondles the sad and crying face of the Euphrates …
MAY ALLAH HASTEN HIS GLORIOUS APPEARANCE AND ESTABLISHMENT OF HIS GOVERNMENT BY THE EUPHRATES …
