In remembering the sad story of Imam Jawaad's (PBUH) martyrdom, today we keep his precious memory alive in our hearts with pondering about his everlasting statements.
Imam Jawaad (PBUH) has said:
âWith the Qaa'em (PBUH), there is a sealed writing in which the names of his companions, along with their cities, particularities, beauties and epithets are written. They are hard working champions in obedience of Allah and him.â

In this month of Dhyl-Qa'dah, we implore Imam Reza (PBUH) -in the name of his only beloved son, Imam Jawaad (PBUH)- to pray for us so that our names may be in that âsealed writingâ... .

On occasions which the Ahl-Ol-Bait are happy, we are also joyful. On Rajab the tenth,year 195 A,H. The only son of Imam Reza, Mohammad (PBUT)was born; the son whom every one expected to be the ninth infallible Imam, as the prophet (pbuh&hp) had prophesied.
A group of Imam Reza's (PBUH) companions visited the Imam while his three years old son was present. They asked imam Reza: if something happens, who shall be your successor? The Imam pointed towards his son and said: this child. They asked:with this young age?! Imam replied: yes with this young age; Allah appointed Jesus as His Hojjat and His appointee while he was not even three years old.

Anniversary of losing Imam Jawaad
The last day of the lunar month of Dhyl-Qa'dah is believed to be the day the ninth infallible successor of the last holy Prophet was martyred. Imam Jawad, Mohammad son of Imam Reza(PBUT), was poisoned by Mo'tasem, the Abbaasy ruler of that time. Imam Javad (PBUH)was only 25 years old when he was martyred in Baghdad.”click on Read more”
